We have a guest in the boatshop this week.  Friend and Maine Guide Mike Kinney is getting his 18′ cedar and canvas freighter canoe ready for his first trip of the year.  Mike teaches Latin at our local high school and guides fishing and canoeing trips both here in the Mid-Coast as well as up north.
